Go back to one of the past creative assignments that you particularly liked or found interesting to explore more. What would you do differently now? How can you push it a little more? Pursue it and post the outcome alongside a short reflection on your blog. The goal of this assignment is to give students an opportunity to deepen their learning experiences. Use your personal learning objective as your guide.

I tried the video feature in procreate to make a small stop-motion animation with my painting. Since I began to painting, I realized how hard it was, which is much harder than using objects to make an animation. I needed to control the movements and to learn different materials on iPad painting.

The coding art serves as creative materials, with a series of commands and the foundational elements of coding, which opens the door for ordinary users to explore the world of programming. Users can specify the order by putting the puzzle pieces together; those blocks can tell the turtle to draw lines and arcs, draw different colors, go to specific locations on the screen, and let you repeat or name sequences. Programming is similar to a language between human beings and computers, and some innovative programming tools produce the easy methods to build connection for someone who is unfamiliar with the coding that is amazing.

I believe that people should adapt the transform of several programming language and be willing to learn new things. I witnessed the dramatic change of the coding area that currently requires students to equip with technology background. Besides facilitate the skills of several programming languages, people can try different tools to make the process of coding more interesting. For instance, turtle art is an alternative way to code, which is more attractive and more accessible than Java. The emergency of different programming languages represents the technology industry is changed rapidly. Lots of programming language was replaced because the modern development led to easier way to code, safer approaches than used languages. Also, many programmers of C and C++ commercial software switched to Java very quickly after Java came out. C++ takes a long time to compile, which has many header files and poor in portability, and lack of reusability.

We notice that there are more and more people willing to take the risk and eat with others even though the pandemic is not over yet, while there’s also many people who choose to eat alone. Hence, we want to create an application that helps people to connect with another one over zoom. Our target users are people who eat alone because of the health concern but would love to have a virtual company. Users could easily find another person who is eating at the same time. We also want to exhibit a live-updated digital art on the application homepage based on users' experiences.

I built up a website through vue.js and combined the database system through SQL. I install the node.js to my laptop to implement some basic features such as video connection system. Xin developed the AR with some of my backend code (the process of video connection) to make a visual supportive for our impact 25 project.
